We started attending auctions and estate sales and buying a few interesting things to try and sell on Ebay. Then the one fateful day we picked up a beautiful brooch. We sold it for an extraordinary price and we were HOOKED. Easy to sell, easy to ship.
After we did it for a while, we actually LIKED what we were doing and Sam - being the BRAIN in the family started studying and studying. He remembers facts and things about jewelry and designers and periods of time that I sometimes wonder how he keeps that all in his head without it exploding! LOL
I basically run the business part of the business. I do the books - profit and loss sheets - CPA says it's the best she's ever seen in her life.
I did used to be a bookkeeper, so I'm sure it helps. I do all the customer contact - boy can I kiss booty well! LOL 
. I also write the descriptions for the pieces that we sell. I'm the collections person and the banker. 
I go to the post office to ship the stuff.We have a website that I'm in charge of as well. Uploading new jewels to sell and keeping track of those sales as well.
Last November I dragged Sam - kicking and screaming to my happiest place on earth! He did NOT want to go.
After a year of complaining that he "had" to go to Disney World and complaining the 1st few days, he LOVED it! We bought into Disney Vacation Club - which is like a timeshare only a bit more liberal. So we're going back twice this year and I couldn't be happier.
